5-Day Live Online Workshop | March 16 – 20, 2026

Are You Leading Your Nonprofit’s Evolution, or Just Reacting to the Next Crisis?

Join us for 5 days with top sector experts to build a concrete roadmap for your nonprofit’s next evolution. It’s time to stop waiting and start intentionally leading the change your organization needs to thrive.

LEADING THROUGH CHANGE:

How to Guide the Evolution of Your Nonprofit

March 16 – 20, 2026

*All sessions are recorded, so you’ll have access even if you can’t attend live.

Are you stuck in the “Urgency Trap”?

You wake up ready to tackle the big picture, but spend the whole day putting out fires. By mid-afternoon, you’ve made 40 micro-decisions—but none that actually move the mission forward. You know change is needed. You’re just too busy surviving to lead it.

A collection of colorful sticky notes with handwritten words like "Urgent," "Deadline," and "Hurry" scattered across a wooden background represent the reactive survival mode that this nonprofit leadership workshop helps leaders escape.
A stressed woman stands at an office desk with her hand to her forehead, looking overwhelmed by the laptop and scattered papers in front of her, reflecting the real-world challenges addressed throughout the nonprofit leadership workshop.

And honestly? Part of you is relieved.

Because when you’re already stretched thin, rocking the boat feels terrifying. What if your team pushes back, your board loses confidence, or you start a transformation you don’t have the bandwidth to finish?

So you take the easy route and wait for things to calm down. But the calm never comes… And standing still is quietly costing you the trust, stability, and momentum you’re trying to protect.

It’s Time to Stop Avoiding Change and Start Leading Through It

You can’t control the economy, the grant cycle, or the next crisis. But you can learn to lead through them—without sacrificing your team’s trust or your own well-being.

The real difference between leaders who stall and leaders who steady their organizations isn’t courage, bravado, or burning yourself out with 80-hour weeks. It’s a framework. One that turns the need for change into a concrete plan your team trusts and your board supports.

Introducing…

LEADING THROUGH CHANGE:

How to Guide the Evolution of Your Nonprofit

This isn’t a workshop about change as an abstract concept. It’s about the specific, real change you already know your organization needs to make—and giving you the practical tools, mindset shifts, and expert guidance you need to lead it with confidence.

You’ll gain a fundamental change leadership framework that works regardless of scope, sector, size, or budget. You’ll learn how to choose the right strategic change to focus on, how to get your team and board aligned, how to communicate about change effectively, and how to do it all while respecting your organization’s current capacity.

Give us 5 HOURS, and we’ll give you a career-defining super-power: the ability to navigate change and uncertainty with confidence and build a concrete plan to lead the evolution your nonprofit needs.

Hi there! We’re the

Nonprofit Leadership Lab

Since 2017, we’ve helped more than
20,000 organizations thrive.

You are a superhero!

As the world’s best online program for board and staff leaders of smaller nonprofits who want to raise more money, build a 5-star board, attract more supporters, grow as leaders and managers, and live more balanced lives, we’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of nonprofit professionals across more than 100 different sectors.

Through our work, we’ve seen that the most successful nonprofit leaders don’t just react to challenges — they remain nimble and lead intentionally with a clear plan, consistent messaging, and their teams in mind.

By focusing on these areas, we’ve helped countless leaders transform their organizations, supporting board engagement, sustainable funding, and stable ground in a shifting climate.

One of the things that can’t really be adequately conveyed in a workshop description is how it feels like you are being wrapped up in a community of support. Even though we’re all virtual, I left every day feeling like I had 100+ people who were cheering me on. Also, the NLL team is stellar!
Jen Boschee-Danzer

Executive Director, NAMI Yolo County CA

I love NLL workshops. Not only do I learn a lot, I have more fun at them than game night with friends. They are always interesting, creative, and dynamic. I look forward to each month’s topic.

It’s fun to be in the same virtual room with so many other nonprofit heros! There is such an encouraging and collaborative feel to the workshop — much better live than recorded!
