Leadership Support for Everyone
We are working toward a nonprofit sector that is more just, more empathetic, and more equitable. That work starts with how we run the Lab itself.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
DEI is not a statement for us. It is an ongoing practice. We check our trainings for bias, use blind screening when we hire, and look at every team member’s work through our values.
Accessibility
Every leader deserves to fully use what we build. We are committed to improving the accessibility of our website and resources, with clearer text, stronger contrast, and content that works for everyone.
Affordability
Great leadership support should not be only for those who can afford expensive consultants. We keep the Lab affordable on purpose, so a grassroots founder and a $5M executive director can both find a home here.
Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Great leaders paint an aspirational vision for the future and invite others to share that vision — because no one lives or acts alone.
We believe that the strength of a community emanates from genuine diversity and inclusion that welcomes leaders of all genders, ethnic and racial backgrounds, cultures and nationalities, sexual orientations, spiritual traditions, ages, physical and intellectual abilities, personalities, and skills.
The Nonprofit Leadership Lab strives to create a community space of belonging and opportunity that elevates diverse leaders who challenge their biases and champion diversity, equity and inclusion. We are dedicated to empathy and compassion for all.
We’re Not Finished, and We Say So
Authenticity is one of our values, so we will not pretend we have this all figured out. We are imperfect and human, deeply committed to dignity and respect, and always working to do better. Where we fall short, we want to hear it.
